RCIA

The Catholic Church always welcomes new members into its community.  Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the present-day process by which people enter into the faith.  RCIA is a process in which interested men and women can explore Catholicism, and make a decision to become a Catholic over a period of months.

RCIA has weekly meetings on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm August through May in the Family Life Center.   Christian Initiation is celebrated by Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.  The RCIA provides a norm for catechetical as well as liturgical practices for this spiritual journey of new members, while at the same time it can lead Catholic parishioners to a deeper belief and renewal of faith. Confirmed adult Catholics can serve as sponsors to the inquiries.
